Salesforce Tower – San Francisco

The 61-story, 1,070 ft. tall Salesforce Tower is the tallest building in San Francisco, and architecturally, the tallest building on the west coast. The 1.42 million sq. ft. tower is glazed with a custom curved curtain wall system on all four corners with an outer lattice of white aluminum fins and sunshades that taper, creating its distinctive geometry. Morrison Hershfield provided building envelope design and field review services for the roofing, curtain wall glazing, and waterproofing for the below grade parking, plaza, bridge deck.

 

Golden State Warriors Chase Center – San Francisco

The two million sq. ft. Chase Center will be the new home of the Golden State Warriors. The multi-purpose arena development will showcase sports, office space and entertainment creating a first-of-its-kind mixed-use community. Morrison Hershfield is providing building envelope consulting services including design review of foundation wall waterproofing, exterior glazing, above grade opaque exterior wall assemblies, deck and roof assemblies.

 

33 Tehama Tower – San Francisco

The 36-story San Francisco SoMa tower, 33 Tehama's exterior is entirely curtain wall, with floor-to-ceiling glass at each level, providing residents exceptional views and access to natural light. Morrison Hershfield provided design and field review service for the building envelope, including below grade waterproofing, glazing systems, opaque exterior wall assemblies, plaza and terrace waterproofing, and main roof assemblies.

 

Stanford University – Redwood City

Construction on the Stanford University Redwood City Campus is underway, with 640,000 sq. ft. of space for multi-use in seven new buildings and 500,000 sq. ft. of parking. Morrison Hershfield is providing building envelope consulting services including design and construction review of below grade waterproofing, glazing, roof, and exterior wall assemblies, as well as witnessing the performance testing of the envelope assemblies. We are also providing an in-depth review of the drain assembly and pool drain/penetration conditions, working closely with the mechanical and plumbing design schedule to find a solution that fits within the as-built constraints and budget.
