BC Transit Workshop: Transit Transformation – Parksville, BC

Morrison Hershfield is proud to be attending the BC Transit Workshop: Transit Transformation – Addressing Industry Trends in Parksville, BC, at the Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre.  This workshop is BC Transit’s annual opportunity to share ideas and consult on major transit initiatives.

Morrison Hershfield will be participating in the tradeshow portion of the Workshop  and members of our Transit West team will be available throughout the workshop to meet and chat with you about what our team is currently up to, the projects that are keeping us busy, and what we think is next for the increasingly active transit industry.

Meet Our Transit Experts:

 

Jim Warren, B.Eng., Sc., P.Eng. – Vice President, Sales

Currently involved in a number of transit projects, Jim holds a role as Project Sponsor for the design of the new Centennial Bus Garage and the functional program for the Westwood Transit Facility, both for the City of Edmonton. Jim is Project Sponsor as well for the Spring Gardens Bus Expansion Project and the Service Lane Ventilation upgrade for Spring Gardens and Victoria Park Transit Garages, both for the City of Calgary.

Bruce Beames, P.Eng. ENV SP, CCA – Senior Transportation Engineer

As our transportation group manger, Bruce oversees a team of engineers, technicians and technologists involved in a variety of road, rail and trail projects. Bruce has over 24 years of experience with a mix of design, quality control, site supervision, project management and business development.
