Since mattresses were banned from all Metro Vancouver disposal facilities, how can they be disposed of and responsibly recycled? This presentation will cover the current mattress program in Metro Vancouver explaining the environmental and financial impacts. They will cover the challenges faced by the existing system, with a case for a provincial Extended Producer Responsibility program for end-of-life mattresses.
