Morrison Hershfield’s diverse and inclusive teams positively impact our performance and our organizational effectiveness. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council, made up of employee volunteers, assists with strengthening and implementing our corporate DEI Strategy.

Our DEI Policy

Our policies and practices are designed to create a welcoming environment and sense of belonging for all employees at MH. Increasing awareness of the difficulties faced by underrepresented groups and providing employees with the tools to become better allies in the workplace is a top priority.

Our Performance Matters

We track our DEI performance regularly. We measure our performance with staff surveys, our Employee Net Promoter Score and by examining employee demographics.

DEI Advisory Council

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council is made up of employee volunteers and co-chaired by two leaders from our senior management team. Throughout the year the Advisory Council helps identify, prioritize and organize various DEI-themed events, panel discussions, educational resources and training. Committee membership changes every 12 – 18 months to provide an opportunity for more employees to take an active role in advancing the company’s DEI Strategy.

To support our Engineers-In-Training, Morrison Hershfield implemented a Pathway to Licensure Program. It is designed to equally support all of our EITs in attaining their PE/P.Eng. licensure through mentorship and the resources available right here at MH.
