Tri-Party Conference & Tradeshow Exhibition 2018
March 11, 2018 - March 13, 2018
Morrison Hershfield will be presenting options for adding Bike Lanes on Provincial Highways, and lessons learned at the annual AT– ARHCA– CEA Transportation Conference & Tradeshow Exhibition. The Tri-Party conference is quickly becoming Alberta’s premier event for design, engineering and construction professionals in transportation infrastructure.
Have you ever felt unsafe cycling on a highway? Have you ever been driving and feel the cyclists are in danger? In Ontario, cyclists spoke up and the province listened. Keith and Bruce will be presenting options for introducing bike lanes on provincial highways. In order to make our highways safer for cyclists who are already using them, the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) sought the advice of a professional consulting firm to help find the best solutions. Join us to review the options that were suggested and the challenges we faced while connecting on road and off road cycling routes across the province.
