Nathalie Maurer, Morrison Hershfields own Environmental Engineer, will be speaking with David Carson of Land Forest People on “Implementing Recycling in Remote First Nations Communities and Using Social Media as a Communications Tool.”
Nathalie is an intermediate environmental engineer at Morrison Hershfield with over 6 years of experience in landfill engineering and waste management. More recently she has been gaining experience in recycling, organics management and alternatives to traditional landfilling methods. She was the assistant project manager the design and construction of the LSTC Eco-Depots and provided site inspection services during the construction of the Eco-Depots and Moloks. Recently, she’s also worked closely with MH’s office in Whitehorse and provided some operations advice for a small remote landfill in the Yukon.

Veronica Bartlett, a Solid Waste Planner for Morrison Hershfield will be co-presenting with Meegan Armstrong from the BC Ministry of Environment on “How BC Benefits from the EPR Programs – An Economic and Environmental Story”
Veronica has worked as an environmental consultant for almost ten years and has gained wide-ranging solid waste management experience. She works with clients providing strategic waste management planning advice and assisting clients with designing and implementing waste diversion and disposal solutions.
