Ontario Architects Association 2016 Regional Seminar Series: Mid-Rise Wood Construction in the Ontario Building Code

The background to these new Code provisions will be presented to understand the objectives of this significant Code change.

Presenter Judy Jeske, Principal, Director of the Code and Life Safety Group and Senior Code Specialist, was the PM and Senior Code Specialist for the development of the recent Ontario WoodWorks 2015 Reference Guide “Mid-Rise Wood Construction in the Ontario Building Code” and has presented throughout Ontario on this topic. Judy works closely with design teams and Authorities Having Jurisdiction and has extensive experience in the application of Codes and standards for new construction and renovations, fire risk assessment, fire protection system design and emergency management planning. She has more than 28 years of experience in fire protection engineering and the application of codes and standards.
