Session Overview: Mixed Use / Multi-Owner Developments
As densification continues in major urban Canadian centres, so will the development of properties based on a mixed-use and/or multi-owner model, including strata subdivisions. Easements, covenants, restrictions, and co-ownership / cost sharing of elements between the co-owners can be quite complex. It is important that property owners — including Condominiums — understand their respective responsibilities and apply this to day-to-day operations and maintenance, capital planning activities (including reserve fund studies), and major repair and replacement projects. If you are a property manager, owner or service provider that will be involved with mixed-use and/or multi-owner condominiums or other properties, come learn about the challenges and best practices in operating, managing and maintaining your property.
This session will be presented by Tara Ersser – Morrison Hershfield, Cynthia DeDeugd – REIC/IREM Calgary Chapter Bonnie and Anderson – Dentons. It takes place on Friday, November 6, 2020, 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM.
