Mushkegowuk Council James Bay All-Season Road Feasibility Study—Taking Action on Rapid Northern Climate Change
The Mushkegowuk Council represents seven First Nations in the Northern and Western James Bay region of Ontario and retained Morrison Hershfield to undertake a feasibility study for a new 525 km all-season road. The presentation will provide an overview of the climate change vulnerability / resilience assessment process, the identified infrastructure / climate risk factors and recommendations arising from the assessment. The work followed a Envision Sustainability Assessment screening process.
