The first phase of the Buffalo Heights mixed-use district is a seven-story, 708,000 SF mixed-use building, including a 232-unit luxury apartment community, One Buffalo Heights Class-A boutique offices and 926 structured parking spaces. The newly constructed 34-story tower consists of 164 residences over 9 levels of above-grade parking. The angled glass curtain wall allows residents to view Austin’s Rainey Street district, the city’s skyline and the Colorado River. CPS Energy Corporate Headquarters
The 11-story and 14-story CPS Energy commercial office buildings are joined by a low-rise podium and combined totals over 490,000 SF. The project was a complete exterior renovation and is targeting LEED V4 certification. To meet the operational goals of the nation’s largest municipally owned utility, Morrison Hershfield provided building envelope commissioning for the project. (San Antonio, TX)
Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts
The new five-story, 168,000 SF Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts resides on a 1.32-acre block in downtown Houston. Morrison Hershfield provided building envelope consulting services to help the create this sustainable institution that met our client’s high-performance goals. (Houston, TX)
Catalyst is a 28-story, 361 unit resort-style apartment building over an eight-level podium. Morrison Hershfield delivered building envelope consulting services during new construction and assisted in a roof replacement due to Hurricane Harvey’s damage. By meeting our client’s tight deadlines and urgent testing requests, they retained us for an additional project. (Houston, TX)
Children’s Health Andrews Institute for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
The new state-of-the-art five-story medical facility has an attached concrete parking garage features an exterior that will consist of punched window openings and large expanses of curtainwall. Morrison Hershfield provided building envelope consulting services including the review of below grade and foundation wall waterproofing, exterior glazing, above grade opaque exterior wall assemblies and roof assemblies. Amegy Bank Headquarters
Located in the heart of downtown Houston’s West Loop, the 390,000 SF bank features a curved office tower features reflective glass-cladding. Morrison Hershfield provided building envelope consulting services. (Houston, TX)
Aspire College Station
The 11-story residential tower offers TAMU students off-campus housing. The development sits over a four-story parking podium, provides retail space on the ground floor and includes two impressive pool decks. Re-Roofing Distribution Center
Direct-to-consumer delivery trends are leading retail supply chain distribution centers to shift their purpose. Morrison Hershfield assisted with the renovation of an exisiting distribution facility to meet these market demands.
