Paul Croft, Practice Lead of Transit Planning will be representing Morrison Hershfield by presenting “Public Transit and Placemaking”. This presentation is part of the “Urban Mobility and the Urban and Social Transition” Focus Session.
Learn about the application of “placemaking” concepts to the design of public transit facilities to enhance the experience of transit users. This presentation will show how placemaking can be used to full advantage in the integration of transit infrastructure with surrounding communities to create public spaces that “promote people’s health, happiness, and wellbeing”, while protecting for transit operational requirements.
