CONSTRUCT Canada: Glass Wall Systems

Their session will be held on Thursday, December 1, from 10:30am to 12pm.

Session Description:

There has been a tremendous surge in construction using exterior glass walls brought on by many factors, including aesthetics, cost, and user demands. This shift to more light weight style of construction has brought on many challenges related to moisture, energy performance, and other factors. This session will present many of the common difficulties associated with the use of glass envelopes and the means to address them. Topics will include common causes of water penetrations, limitations on building HVAC systems, and new technologies that can maximize the thermal performance of these systems, among others.
